(Purchased with Lego kit itself) Nephew enjoys putting these together. I think he said it was about 800 pieces and you have to work from the inside out. After ordering this I seen others bought the LED lighting and I add that too. He was very excited to have the lighting with the RF switch so I would recommend that purchase as well!

My elementary-aged student installed this in a Lego Boba Fett helmet, sans adult-assistance. One little part requiring double-sided sticky tape, required a new application of tape- which we had here at home. Once this was replaced,-- installed, stuck and worked like a charm.

Instructions are pretty straight forward but the lights are very delicate. Just have to be cautious of the bulb and block placement.

This is a really cool item and I am glad that there is someone out there making this for Legos or whatever. You get to transform your item into something really cool. Want a Boba Fett with lights, here you go. If you want a car that lights up you can get it. This idea is really cool all around.The materials used to create this set of lights is pretty nice. The wiring is solid and the lights are well made. Everything connects to a battery pack and once done you get a really cool setup.Setting this up takes a bit as you need to figure out where you are going to put your wiring. The light setup is easy, the connections are easy, the only thing you really have to think about is what to do with the wires.If you are looking for a cool way to spice up your Boba Fett check this out. You will not be disappointed.

When I saw that there were light kits for some of the Lego kits, I thought that was a neat idea. Most of the kits, however, were not for Lego sets that my family had. Then I saw the Boba Fett one that my 23 year old son had recently assembled, so I had to order it. It comes with an instruction booklet that shows you step by step with pictures. I assisted my husband with the task. You do have to take parts of the Lego masterpiece apart to do the job. The wires are very thin and once the job is finished, they're not very noticeable. They could have been completely hidden if we had run the first wire along the opposite side of the brick. Lesson learned. By the time we were finished, we were glad to be done and didn't want to go back and change it. The whole thing probably took less than 30 minutes. We were a little slow at times, trying to decipher the instructions to make sure that we were removing the correct piece and such. The actual lights have adhesive strips on them to keep them in place. You do have to plug the wire ends into a piece so everything is linked together. It requires 3 AAA batteries, not included. The end results are great! Our son was very pleased with how it looks.
