Looks great and great quality. Only suggestion for assembly is do it when you are building the set. If you are going to deconstruct it will not be easy. Lights look great and the sounds are awesome.

Works great, but it’s not easy to install after the Lego is done. Need to be very careful and the thin wires look soooo fragile. Be careful. All worked fine with lights and sounds!

Kit has everything you need, although I recommend downloading the instructions so you can zoom in on the pictures as the printed instructions are pretty small. The RF remote makes it convenient to turn on/off the lights. There's an available kit that has sound, too, but I'm not really sure how much I would use that.Retrofit installation requires quite a bit of disassembly of the model, so you need to be sure to keep track of where everything goes. Whenever I do stuff like this, I always take pictures as I disassemble in case there's any issues with reassembly. If this is a new build, then it should go a lot more easily. The wiring can make this a little tricky, but the instructions do a good job of showing how to run them. Some will be exposed, but it's not too bad.

I bought my fiance the Lego set and then the light and sound set and anyone that comes over he has to show it off to he loves it. He fell in love with it when I showed it to him and was like a kid at Christmas again putting it all together and playing with it lol his other love is star wars so I can't blame him

It was difficult to install. After pairing the remote I found that some of the sound effects work and nearly all of the lights. But the volume and dimmer switches don't seem to do anything. It looks cool lit up, and the sound effects that work are pretty good. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow.

Bought my husband the r2d2 lego set for Christmas and added to the surprise by getting the lighting kit. After putting everything together, it looks really good! As far as installation difficulty, it was not as hard as I imagined it would be. Dealing with lego builds can be frustrating sometimes with pieces falling off, and I definitely ran into that problem installing the lights. However, the illustrated instructions were very clear and I really appreciated that.

I finally purchased this lego kit just for this led kit and I love it. The instructions were not too bad and was easy to figure out and now my R2 lego set looks awesome! I have it on display under my TV and get compliments all the time. Go figure even at 30, people still love lego sets and love them even more when they light up lol!
